SWAC PLC Server

The PLC Server is an application which allows any SWAC Linux Device to become a full-blown hardware PLC using the IBH S7-PCI315 Card which uses the PCs ethernet port to provide communications via Modbus/TCP.
The PCI card has it's own power supply and will therefore continue to work even if the PC does not work anymore.
The PLC server allows you to connect either to the local PLC on-board or to another IBH PCI315 with a standard ethernet connection. Upon connecting, it will broadcast data from the PLC to the SWAC IPC layer. Processes running on the SWAC Menu can request data from the PLC or write to it. The application also provides data-throughput displays and is integrated with the SWAC Menu logging facilities.
